The Fritton Arms
Comfort and Elegance in the heart of Somerleyton
The Fritton Arms welcomes you with fine food, refreshment and high quality accommodation.
Restaurant & Bar with Rooms
Extensively revamped, the Fritton Arms was recently re-opened as a place to relax with friends, over well selected drinks, and a creative menu of locally sourced food. For travellers on business, holiday-makers or those just passing through, we offer nine elegant and comfortable rooms, guaranteeing you a comfortable stay.
The atmosphere is relaxed but the kitchen is serious - with operations run by our highly acclaimed team of chefs. For food lovers, we have a wood fired oven to roast meat and cook our excellent homemade pizzas. The bar keeps a fine and changing collection of local ales, so there’ll always be something new to try. Follow us on facebook to keep up with the ever changing drink and food lineup.
The perfect location
Make the Fritton Arms part of your great local day out - there are lovely walks along the banks of Fritton Lake, an adventure playground and in summer plenty of activity on the lake itself. The Fritton Arms recently opened its own campsite located by Fritton Church, and if you’re staying at one of the Somerleyton Estate’s woodland lodges the good news is we’re expanding our food delivery service to cover your holiday home!
If you're here on business, then The Fritton Arms is ideally located just a stones throw away from the business districts of Great Yarmouth, Lowestoft and Beccles & Bungay. Yet far enough away to escape to piece and tranquility with access to running trails, cycling and fishing to help unwind and relax at the end of a busy day. Our rooms are comfortable and quiet, so ideal for a decent nights sleep. We can also arrange early breakfast for those who need to be up and away at the crack of dawn. Bed and Breakfast and Dinner, Bed and Breakfast available.
